About Wunmi
Wunmi became a community activist following her stepping into entrepreneurship over 12 years ago and she wanted to know and be involved in what was happening where she resided in her local London borough.
Her passion for business mingled with the joy of making a difference in her community finally led Wunmi to founding Radiant Ambitions CIC 2019.
Radiant Ambitions is a social enterprise with a mission to create a more equitable world for women and girls to thrive with their skills and talents through activities which elevate their wellness and worth. The economic empowerment and social improvement of women lies at the heart of what Wunmi loves to do.
Besides Radiant Ambitions, Wunmi recently founded a sister company, Creatively Radiant Ltd to provide a platform to explore, advance and amplify ideas in the wellbeing and social value sectors.
A wordsmith, master organiser and inspirational speaker, Wunmi’s life is about influence and impact mingled with her love for God, her love for people and her love for community. Wunmi is married to Yinka and they have two grown up sons.
My Personal Manifesto
- I don’t have to fit in to be accepted so I treat myself with dignity and grace.
- God had purpose in mind when he created me. Therefore, I am a masterpiece, a radiant masterpiece. I rock my world in beauty and grace.
- Food is for purpose, so I eat to nourish my body hopeful to live with a daily dose of self-control. I am not there yet. This is very much a journey of progress and good intentions.
- Wellbeing is important to me so I practice self-care on a regular basis.
- With money I know I can do good so I don’t just work for money, I make money work for me.
- I value my skills, talents, creativity and dexterity. Therefore, I will not apologise for having the capacity to do more in life.
- I am at my best when I take out time to rest so I will find time from my busy schedule to pause, take a break and slow down.
- My values of contribution, creativity, curiosity, faith, fairness and beauty are important to me so I choose to live by them.
- I’m a woman of worth and value so I pursue peace, positivity and hope.
- Lastly, I push myself beyond measure and reach for my goals because I know I can do all things through the strength of Christ in me.
